Smooth out your dancing and learn the fundamentals of Smooth Jive. Join us for our 1st ‘Smooth Jive’ workshop of the year where one of the southwest most experienced smooth jive dancers will be imparting his knowledge in 2 x 1 hour long lessons followed by freestyle dancing. Don’t be scared by the thought of smooth jive dancing. It doesn’t mean you have to be overly close to your partner but it does give you a chance to be more expressive in your dancing style. It also means that you don’t have to learn hundreds of new moves to get the most from a dance. We will be at our usual venue, Elm Community Centre. for this workshop with LOADS of free parking & tea, coffee & beautiful cakes and snacks available to you throughout the afternoon. Doors open at 4.15pm and Workshop begins at 4.30pm. There will be 2 x 1 hour workshops broken up with refreshments in the form of hot drinks and cakes followed by freestyle practice to top smooth jive tunes!
