Aimed at both leads and follows, we will give you all the 'tools' to get the best from not only the music but every dance partner too! We will be covering ways of identifying changes in tempo & when 'hard' and 'soft' stops might happen along with ammunition to do something with these "breaks". We will also be looking at adapting your dancing to different speeds of music from the very fastest to the slowest of slow not only between tracks but within them to add interest. We will be looking at ways to link moves together without necessarily doing move, after move, after move, after move! Again, with shifts in tempo. Along with ways of letting the follow "do their thing" and many styling tips for both lead and follow, there may be some new "wow moves" to add to your repertoire as a lead.This will culminate in a routine enveloping these dance qualities. Doors open at 4.15pm and Workshop begins at 4.30pm ending at 7pm to allow to you grab some food locally (or bring it with you!) before continuing the evening with our monthly freestyle 'til 11pm! There will be 2 x 1 hour workshops broken up with refreshments in the form of hot drinks and cakes You will then be entitled to FREE entry to our June Freestyle event starting at 7.30pm Price for workshops with free entry to freestyle (4.30-11.30pm) Members £18 Non-Members £22
